Our story
Since 2008, from Vashi
GB Legal Associates was founded in 2008 in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, as a firm dedicated to intellectual property. It still works from the same city, at Haware Fantasia Business Park, Sector 30A.
The firm files trademark, patent, copyright and design applications with the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (IP India) and with the Copyright Office. It also handles what follows a filing: examination replies, hearings, oppositions, renewals, assignments and the records that keep a right in force.
For clients who sell or license abroad, the firm files through the Madrid Protocol and the Patent Cooperation Treaty, both administered by WIPO, and directly with national and regional offices through associates in each country. It also files in India for foreign companies. Alongside intellectual property, it supports manufacturers, exporters and food businesses with ISO, Halal and Kosher certification.
